  • champlevé enamelled and partially gilt copper, on a modern wood and metal stand

Condition

There is wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age and handling. There are losses to the enamel throughout and the gilding is largely lost. The nose of Christ is rubbed. There is some warping. Otherwise the condition of the cross is stable.
