Some slight foxing.On the reverse in the middle the paper is thinner due to a spot of humidity also visible on the front and from the image in the catalogue.Qualche piccola fioritura.Sul retro al centro si nota un assottigliamento della carta in corrispondenza di un alone di umidità visibile anche al recto ed in foto.

Catalogue Note
Il santuario di Santa Maria delle Grazie, detto anche delle "Grazie vecchie", è quello in cui trovarono rifugio Renzo e Lucia su indicazione di padre Cristoforo quando dovettero fuggire da Lecco. Lucia fu poi affidata alla Monaca di Monza, nel convento femminile - oggi non più esistente - che si trovava entro le mura della città. E' probabile quindi che la scena raffigurata si ispiri all'episodio dei Promessi Sposi. La stessa chiesa è raffigurata in un altro acquerello di Migliara custodito nella Pinacoteca Civica di Alessandria.
