Painting relined.From a first-hand inspection some abrasions are visible along the edges due to the frame, craquelures over the surface, one loss (cm 2 x 1,5) lower right over the skirt and one (cm 1x1 circa) over the chest.The ultra violet light reveals thick fluorescent varnish dishomogeneously spread over the surface, a retouch (cm 4x8 circa) over the background near the girl's head, 4 others over the background top left hand side (the longest cm 10x2) larger than the real need; others small ones over the background top right hand side, between the face and the spindle, on the right and below the left arm, another retouch (cm 8x2) over the apron, a vertical one (cm 30x4 circa) lower left hand side near the corner and other retouch on the right hand side of this one and one more horizontal (cm 10x2 circa) near the lower edge in the centre. The painting needs careful cleansing and accurate restoration.Opera foderata.Ad un primo esame si notano alcune abrasioni lungo i lati dovute alla battitura della cornice, craquelures sparse su tutta la superficie, una caduta di materia (cm 2 x 1,5) in basso a destra sulla gonna ed una (cm 1x1 circa) sopra il petto.L'esame alla lampada di Wood evidenzia uno spesso strato di vernice fortemente fluorescente distribuita disomogeneamente, un'area di ritocco (cm 4x8 circa) sullo sfondo sopra la testa della fanciulla, 4 altri ritocchi sullo sfondo in alto a sinistra (il più lungo cm 10x2) più estesi rispetto alla mancanza sottostante; altri piccoli ritocchi sullo sfondo in alto a destra, tra il volto ed il fuso, sulla destra e sotto il braccio a sinistra, un'altra area di ritocco (cm 8x2) sul grembiule in basso a destra, un altro verticale (cm 30x4 circa) in basso a sinistra presso l'angolo e qualche altro ritocco alla destra di quest'ultima e ancora un ritocco orizzontale (cm 10x2 circa) presso il bordo sinistro al centro.L'opera necessita di un'attenta pulitura ed un accurato restauro.
