ciascuno con il piano incorniciato da mosaico a tralcio di fiori entro bordo in bronzo, gambe coronate da putti e unite da traverse; piccole cadute alla doratura
Condition
The top photographed, in the catalogue picture, very dirty, mainly on the back flowers background, dirt and dust penetrating around the flower stems and on the junctions of the mosaic. Same situation for the other top, but last dirty.
Both gilt bronze borders are dirty, dusty with scratches and stains of fat and of oxidations.
The giltwood supports have extensive losses of gilding and wood throughout.
But most importantly the tops could be probably dated to second quarter of the 19th century relating to the Demidoff Family production in Opificio delle Pietre Dure, while the tables have been added later in the 1870 and 1880.
The tops in very good conditions.
