Painting on original canvas.From a first hand inspection craquelures are visible over the surface specially on the left hand side and mainly over the sky area, one tiny loss below the dog's legs in the foreground. Small losses are visible along the edges due to the frame.There are some retouch to fill the craquelures next to the top left hand side corner, near the laundry on the left, over the sky top centre and on the Vesuvio's left hand side, a small retouch near the lower left hand side, next to the dog on left hand side and other small ones spread around.Ther overall condition as to the state of conservation is good.Opera in prima tela.Ad un primo esame si evidenzia la presenza di una leggera rete di craquelures, più evidente sul cielo e più aperte presso l'angolo superiore sinistro. Piccole cadute di materia sono visibili lungo i bordi specialmente quello inferiore dovute alla battitura della cornice. Si nota una piccola caduta di materia pittorica al di sotto del cane in basso al centro.L'esame alla lampada di Wood evidenzia un leggero strato di vernice fluorescente. Si notano alcuni ritocchi per lo più a chiudere le craquelures presso l'angolo in alto a sinistra, tra il bucato a sinistra, sul cielo in alto al centro, sul cielo alla sinistra del vesuvio, un piccolo ritocco presso l'angolo inferiore sinistro, alla sinistra del cane e qualche altro puntiforme sparso.L'opera si presenta in buono stato di conservazione.
