Etching, 1884, the second (final) state, with atmospheric plate tone in lower image, signed with the butterfly in pencil on the tab and inscribed imp, on laid paper

Condition

Trimmed just within the platemark at top (circa 2mm, not affecting the image), in good condition apart from a soft horizontal crease across centre of sheet, slight cockling, slight pressure mark at upper right and left corners of sheet recto, the right side slightly discolored, associated with hingeing verso, framed.
