Etching printed in dark brown ink from the Second Venice Set, circa 1883, the first state (of two), with delicate plate tone, signed with the butterfly in pencil on the tab and inscribed imp, on laid paper
Condition
With thread margins, in good condition apart from a short vertical tear at upper edge of sheet (circa 4mm), a small repaired area at upper left edge of sheet (circa 4mm), another repair at upper left edge on the platemark (circa 14mm), two diagonal soft creases at lower right corner of sheet (only visible in a raking light), framed.
