Bound edition with 22 sheets, 27 plates - Etchings on paper
- Each sheet: circa 590 by 445mm; 23¼ by 17½in
30 etchings, circa 1743-1757, including 17 plates from Prima Parte (F. 2-18); eight plates from Opere Varie (F. 120-123, 126-128, 131); two plates from Le Anchità Romane (W.-E. 360, 422); three plates from Lettere di Giustificazione (W.-E. 738, 745, 748), good impressions, on paper some with a Fleur de Lys in Double Circle watermark (cf. Robison 37, 38 or 39 dated circa 1760-1790), bound in paper covered boards with a vellum spine
Condition
The full sheets with deckle edges, generally in good condition apart from light soiling and occasional small nicks and paper losses at the outer edges of sheets, offsetting, occasional scattered foxing, other minor defects, the binding with surface soiling and the edges with tears and paper losses.
