STRUCTURE
The canvas has been lined.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be very good condition, with no apparent damage or loss of paint. There are a small number of very minor flecks of dirt in the upper right.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a small number of very minor flecks of retouching in the figural group in the lower left, as well as one or two in the lower right, and some minor infilling to craquelure in the sky, upper right.
FRAME
Held in a gilded wooden frame.
