Condition
The colours of the original are a little softer than they appear in the catalogue illustration.
The canvas has been relined, the paint surface is secure under a dirty yellowed varnish.
There is an old restored damage of approx 4 cm squared upper left above the Madonna's head. Inspection under UV light reveals some old scattered retouchings and an area of old repaint to the Madonna's blue skirt.
Offered in a stained wooden frame in good condition.
