Catalogue Note
The same subject is found in a drawing by Daniele Crespi in the Biblioteca Ambrosiana, Milan,1 which is a preparatory study for a section of the fresco under the semicatino in the apse, part of the vast and elaborate decoration executed by Daniele and assistants in the Certosa di Pavia.2
