Condition

This watercolour has been well preserved and carefully presented. The pigments have faded very slightly but the composition retains much of his original immediacy. There is a very minor area of surface dirt in the upper left quadrant of the sheet, however this can only be seen on very close inspection. The sheet has not been laid down but is attached to a mount at the extreme edges verso.
