Condition

The pen and ink has remained strong and fresh in this work, although some of the more delicate watercolour pigments have faded slightly. The paper has discoloured somewhat and there is occasional minor surface dirt. In a raking light it is possible to see several minor scratches to the sheet. This work has been laid down.

The watercolour pigments have faded slightly in this work. The paper has suffered from minor discolouration and there is some minor surface dirt visible. Within the sky area of the composition there are several minor scattered foxmarks. This work has been laid down.
