Condition

Although some of the more delicate watercolour pigments have faded very slightly, in general the colours in this work remain strong and clear. The paper has suffered from very minor light-staining. In the sky there is a small area where the paper has discoloured more severely than in the remaineder of the composition. In a raking light it is possible to see minor scratches and rubbed areas in the sheet. The sheet has been laid down.
