Condition
Taking crew off to an English frigate, with other shipping near the Needles, Isle of Wight:
The watercolour pigments in this work have faded slightly. The paper has discoloured a little, particularly to the left of the composition. There are one or two very minor foxmarks, however these are only visible on very close inspection. The sheet has not been laid down.
