Condition
The canvas has been relined.
The paint surace is is dirty but secure and well-preserved.
Inspection under UV light reveals minor scattered retouchings to the painting. There appears to be an area of intervention to the sky but the varnish makes it difficult to tell whether this is original or part of later restoration work.
Offered in an ornate gilt wood and plaster frame in good condition with a few minor knocks.
