Condition

The surface of the work is in overall good condition. The panel is cracking in three places in the center of the upper third of the piece. There is some slight pigment separation in the middle of the work. There appears to be a cleaning test along the right edge. Under UV; Scattered inpainting throughout and a heavy varnish.

This is a 19th Century copy after Luini's composition in the Capodimonte, Naples.
