Condition
The canvas is lined. The surface of the work is overall good condition. There is craquelure throughout the work. There are some scrapes and losses along the edges from frame abrasion. Under UV; some slight retouching in the sky and along the right edge of the painting.

Catalogue Note
Ring lived in Baldersbronde from 1902 to 1914. When he painted the present lot he was living in Frederiksvaerk (1898-1902). The artist was a keen observer of the various areas of Zealand in which he chose to live, of its landscapes and its people.
