Condition
The painting is lined. Surface in generally good condition aside from faint pressed craquelure and a 4 inch repaired tear at center underneath the beak of the bird. The extreme right edge has several areas of chipping and some loss from frame abrasion. The signature has been thinned. UNDER UV; several spots of inpainting along edges and one spot at lower center.
