Condition

Lined, "alligator" surface and craquelure in dark pigments in background, paint separation in the boy's costume, frame abrasion along lower edge, speck of loss upper left corner, canvas buckles upper right corner, upper and center stretcher bar marks visible; under UV: varnish fluoresces unevenly, areas of inpainting to background and object on left, inpainting to boy's leg, costume and his right eye, inpainting to box of toy on right, a few dots of inpainting in the foreground.
