Condition

Canvas has been relined and slightly pressed as a result. there is some thinness to background areas and right side of basket, but flowers are well retained and the composition overall still reads well. under UV: retouches are scattered throughout the background; other smaller ones are scattered here and there in flowers and leaves, a few on basket and some scattered on stone ledge. the painting is presentable as is and there is no need for further work. In an elaborately carved and gilt wood frame with some nicks and losses.
