Condition
Original canvas.
There are some very minor areas of craquelure in the centre thick area of black pigment, only visible upon close inspection; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition with strong passages of impasto.
Under ultraviolet light there appear to be no signs of retouching.
Held in a slip wood frame.
