Catalogue Note

Accompanied by two Gübelin reports nos. 0806508 and 0806509 stating that the rubies are of Tanzanian origin, no indications of heating.  Both together with appendixes from Gübelin stating that the rubies are from the gemstone mines near the Winza village (Mpwapwa district) in the Dodoma region of Tanzania, and the rubies 'have a saturated and homogeneous colour, combined with a high degree of transparency, and a finely proportioned cut.  In addition, this gemstone has been spared thermal treatment.  Such a combination of characteristics is rare in natural rubies of this size.'

Also Accompanied by GIA report no. 16882528 stating that the 2.02 carat diamond is F color, VVS1 clarity; and GIA report no. 2101970914 stating that the 2.01 carat diamond is F color, VVS2 clarity.
