Natural Pearl, Amethyst and Emerald Lariat Necklace

The single-strand supporting a tassel at each end, composed of natural pearls measuring approximately 4.8 to 3.4 mm., accented by amethyst and emerald tumbled beads, the tassels capped by amethyst segments, trimmed by calibré-cut emeralds, length including tassels 44 inches, maker's marks.

In very good condition. The round to near round pearls on the tassles present an ivory body color, soft pink, green and blue overtones, a satin-like to very good luster, and nice skins. The off-round to semi-baroque pearls on the chain are a more silvery white, with soft pink and blue overtones, and lightly wrinkled skins. The amethyst caps are medium purple and eye-clean; the amethyst beads are medium purple with some areas of desaturation and moderately included. The emerald beads are medium-light to medium green and moderately to heavily included. The cailbré-cut emeralds are a lively medium green and decorative in quality. Length without tassels 37 inches.
