The graduated flexible collar composed of strands of gold wire, accented on the front with round and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.00 carats, length 16 inches, signed Van Cleef et Arpels, Made in France, numbered 24779.
Condition
In very good condition with a few minor signs of wear from normal use. Beautifully made, totally flexible throughout. There is a safety clasp with serial number 24779. The diamonds are approximately G-H color and VS-SI clarity overall. Gross weight approximately 119 dwts. French obus mark on tongue indicating export.

A similar necklace is illustrated in Van Cleef & Arpels, by Sylvie Raulet, p. 130. The design is referred to as 'Angel Hair' and was first created in 1954.
