The double snake-link choker decorated at the front with a circular concave clasp of polished gold set in the center with a diamond ball pavé-set with round and old European-cut diamonds, supporting a gold link tassel set at the terminals with old European-cut and old mine diamonds, the total diamond weighing approximately 4.00 carats, gross weight approximately 77 dwts., length adjustable to 15 inches, signed Van Cleef & Arpels Inc., Made in France, numbered 129 and N.Y. 11070.

Overall good condition with some slight wear from normal use. The clasp may be found on the underside of the disc-shaped plaque. To open, apply gentle pressure to the narrow end of the triangular-shaped element while pulling upward on the wide end. Converts to a bracelet easily by wrapping around twice. Workshop mark and French export marks. Set with 41 round and old European-cut diamonds and 13 old European-cut and old mine diamonds. The diamonds set in the ball are G-H color, VS clarity; the stones at the ends of the tassels are older cuts and VS to I clarity, a few stones have small chips from wear. Please note the gross weight of the necklace is approximately 77 dwts., not 77 carats as stated in the catalogue.
