Description

  • gold, silver, ruby, diamond, earrings
Set with 2 oval rubies weighing 19.67 carats, framed and surmounted by old mine diamonds weighing approximately 7.90 carats.

Condition

Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 46673 A and B stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin, heat enhancement: none. The rubies are a medium deep slightly pinkish-red color. They are heavily included, a few inclusions break the surface causing several cracks and chips. There are 34 old-mine diamonds, H-I color range and VS-SI clarity. The silver in the mountings is tarnished, the earrings were likely made from antique elements, the hook closures are a modern addition.
