Description

  • Michele della Valle
  • 18 karat white gold, baroque cultured pearl, diamond, necklace
The double-strand composed of baroque cultured pearls measuring approximately 20.0 by 18.1 mm. to 15.1 by 14.5 mm., the clasp designed as a flowerhead set with round diamonds weighing approximately 25.35 carats, and round yellow sapphires weighing approximately 9.50 carats, length 17½ inches, signed Michele della Valle, numbered 100773.

Condition

The pearls are silvery white with good luster and well matched throughout the strand. They are baroque in shape and there are some imperfections usual to this type of pearl. The diamonds in the clasp are G-H color and VS-SI clarity. The yellow sapphires vary in color when viewed under magnification, creating a slightly graduated color effect in the center of the flower. Overall very good condition.
