Of girandole design, set with a natural pearl drop, capped with rose- and circular-diamonds on a pearl and diamond surmount, length approximately 57mm.

Condition

This brooch is being sold as having natural pearls and it will be submitted for testing to the SSEF laboratory at Sotheby's expense after the auction and before delivery to buyer. Three of the four pearls are Chinese drilled. The two largest pearls of cream colour with fair lustre and noticeable surface blemishes and cracks. Old mine cut diamonds, some with eye visible inclusions, bright and lively stones. Central drop and brooch fitting detachable. Signs of lead solder to the reverse. Scratches and tarnish to metal commensurate with age and wear. In overall fair condition.
