Natural pearl and diamond necklace, one small cultured pearl

Designed as a row of natural pearls, and one cultured pearl, set at intervals with faceted diamond beads, on a clasp set to the centre with a marquise-shaped diamond, mounted in gold, length approximately 865mm, French assay and maker's marks.

Clasp stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Maker's mark. Natural pearls of white to cream body colour, partly with rose overtones, some overgrowth marks and blemishes, a few pearls with extensive signs of wear around drill hole, medium to good lustre. Marquise-cut diamond on clasp estimated to weigh approximately 1.45 carats, H colour, I clarity. Remaining diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal. In good condition.
