Attractive sapphire and diamond brooch

Designed as a stylised floral spray, the flower head centres, mounted en tremblant, set with three cushion-shaped sapphires weighing 6.71, 7.00 and 10.21 carats respectively, the petals set with marquise-shaped diamonds, the stem with baguette diamonds.

Stamped pt950 for platinum. For further information on the sapphires, please refer to the Gübelin and SSEF reports. Sapphires well matched in colour, a few typical crystal inclusions visible under close inspection, few scratches, minor nicks and abrasion to facet junctions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 10.00 carats, generally H-I colour (a few J), VS-SI clarity. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age, marks of solder at the back. In good condition.
