Designed as a parrot, the beak set with coral, the face and crest with brilliant and single-cut diamonds, the eye with a circular-cut ruby, embellished with cabochon turquoise, circular-cut sapphire and variously-cut diamond wings, perching on a coral and pear-shaped diamond branch, mounted in yellow gold and platinum, signed Cartier Paris, partly legible, French assay and maker's marks, case.

Condition
Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Stamped with French assay marks and 750 for gold and platinum. Signature partly rubbed. Coloured gemstones well matched, bright and lively colours. Coral with typical white banding visible under close inspection. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age, minor tarnish. In good condition.
