Ruby, emerald and diamond clip, Cartier, circa 1945

Designed as a  flower, the articulated and reversible petals set with circular-cut emeralds and rubies, single- and brilliant-cut diamonds within twisted gold frames, the reverse of ribbed polished gold, the centre set with an emerald and diamonds, mounted in yellow gold and platinum, signed Cartier Paris, French assay marks, case.

Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 2.40 carats, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Minor scratches to gold otherwise in very good condition.
