The octagonal step-cut sapphire flanked by baguette diamonds, size 55½, with ring sizer, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, French assay marks.

The revised estimate is CHF 130'000-190'000 / US$ 140'000-205'000. French assay marks for platinum. Mounted in yellow gold plated platinum. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered 3830 R. Sapphire a blue hue with good saturation of colour. Almost clean crystal to the naked eye, minor typical crystal inclusions noticeable under magnification, minor nicks to girdle. For further information on the sapphire, please refer to the Gübelin report. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of minor to normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
