Of circular form, set at the centre with a cushion-shaped emerald within a scalloped frame of rose diamonds, further decorated with cushion-shaped and circular-cut stones, a few rose diamonds deficient, case, emerald setting may be a replacement.
Condition
Mounted in silver and gold. Emerald a green hue with good saturation of colour, a few typical crystal inclusions visible to the naked eye, some minor nicks and abrasion to facet junctions. For further information on the emerald, please refer to the Gübelin report. Old cushion-shaped diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 11.00 carats, H-J colour on average, VS-SI clarity (a few I's), smaller diamonds bright and lively. The surmount is detachable, the circular part of the brooch may be worn on its own as a brooch. A few very small diamonds are deficient. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age. Well preserved and in good condition.
