Catalogue Note

The diamonds mounted in this necklace were given by Empress Eugénie of the French to her niece, Maria Asunción Fitz-James Stuart y Palafox, Duchess of Galisteo, on the occasion of her marriage. The stones were then mounted as a necklace in the 1970´s.
