Designed as a graduated series of cushion-shaped rock crystal links, each set to the centre with a similarly shaped or circular-cut diamond between spacers set with two lines of single-cut stones, suspending a similarly set pendant of quatrefoil design, length approximately 450mm.

The diamonds mounted in this necklace were given by Empress Eugénie of the French to her niece, Maria Asunción Fitz-James Stuart y Palafox, Duchess of Galisteo, on the occasion of her marriage. The stones were then mounted as a necklace in the 1970´s.
