Description

  • coral, diamond, 18 K gold
The triple strand necklace composed of coral beads, with foliate connections accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, to a central lion's head motif set with pear-shaped emerald eyes and brilliant-cut diamonds, supporting a coral tassel, mounted in yellow gold, length approximately 400mm, detaches to form a shorter necklace and bracelet, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, pochette.

Condition

Stamped with 750, Or and French assay marks for gold. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels to the clasps and pendant, numbered 26386 on the back of the pendant, 26387 and 26388 on the clasps. Coral graduated in colour, varying from light pink to medium red. Emeralds well matched in colour. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 13.50 carats in total, gauged in the mount, bright and lively. Secure clasps. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age. In good condition.
