Each designed as articulated lines of baguettes to a cluster surmount set with circular-cut diamonds and tapered baguettes, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, case.

Condition

French assay marks for platinum. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered 51.264. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 14.00 carats, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of little to normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.

Catalogue Note

According to Van Cleef & Arpels's archives these ear clips were manufactured in 1939 and were originally set with rubies and diamonds. They  were altered in 1948 by Van Cleef & Arpels and the rubies were replaced by diamonds.
