Pair of gem-set and diamond bangles, Van Cleef & Arpels

The first set with a cabochon and calibré-cut emeralds encased within rows of brilliant-cut diamonds, the second of similar design, set with rubies and diamonds, mounted in yellow gold, circumference approximately 150mm, both signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered.

Stamped 750 for gold. Both bracelets signed Van Cleef & Arpels N.Y., ruby bracelet numbered 52663 and emerald bracelet 54844. Rubies and emeralds well matched in colour, with typical inclusions visible under close inspection, few scratches, nicks and abrasion. Diamonds bright and lively. Secure clasps, with safety catches. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
