Description

  • emerald, diamond and platinum
Each suspending on a cushion-shaped emerald weighing 10.73 and 9.52 carats respectively, framed by old mine-cut diamonds altogether weighing approximately 3.60 carats, each surmounted by a cushion-shaped diamond weighing 3.01 carats, mounted in platinum.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to both Gübelin and AGL reports, the pair of cushion emeralds are natural, of Colombian origin, with no indication of clarity enhancement. AGL Jewelfolio stating "such a well matched pair of Colombian emeralds possessing such a combination of attributes as superior color, uncommon clarity, well proportioned cut, is extremely rare". Please refer to the reports and separat Jewelfolio for details. In our opinion, the emeralds are well matching, of brilliant, strong green colour, eye clean and lively. Upon 10x loupe, there are a few minor natural inclusions, which are very common to natural emeralds and overall are not noticeable to naked eyes. Two cushion diamonds weighing 3.01 carats each, according to GIA reports, are G colour, VVS2 and VS2 clarity respectively. Please refer to the reports for details. Other tiny old-mine cut diamonds are probably of similar colour and clarity. Condition: Platinum mounts, in very good condition.
