Description

- Platinum, gold, ruby and diamond
The foliage bracelet of cross-over design set with a line of calibré-cut diamonds, edged by graduated oval and cushion-shaped rubies together weighing approximately 29.60 carats, and graduated marquise-shaped diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 20.00 carats, mounted in platinum and 18 karat white gold, length approximately 170mm, signed and numbered 84059.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Gübelin report, the rubies are natural, of Burmese origin, with no indication of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the rubies are of matching, strong red colour, eye clean. Upon 10x loupe, there are natural inclusions, which are very common to natural rubies. A few stones have tiny chips or nicks on girdle, commensuring to the age of the bracelet. Diamonds are probably D to F colours, VVS to VS clarity. Also accompanied by an authenticity certificate stating that this bracelet is a genuine VCA item, circa 1959. Signed and numbered to the clasp.
Condition: Platinum and karat white gold mount, in very good condition.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. Please check with the specialist department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to these import restrictions, or any other restrictions on importation or exportation.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
