Comprising a whimsical brooch modelled as an owl, perching on an onyx rod, to an onyx carved head, body and eyes decorated by brilliant-cut diamonds, accented by oval emerald-set eyes, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold, signed Piaget; a pair of pendent ear clips, each suspending two ruby beads on black cords, to a geometrical surmount decorated by brilliant-cut diamonds, clip fittings, signed Cartier and numbered 46033A; a double-clip brooch set with shield-shaped, baguette and old European-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 7.10 carats, circa 1935; mounted in 18 karat white gold. Condition

Colour and Clarity: Under 10x loupe, the onyx has some surface abrasions and chips to the edges but generally in good condition. The diamonds are about J-K colours, VS clarity. The eyes are set with intense emeralds with some minor natural inclusions. The diamonds on the earrings are about G-H colours, VS clarity. Ruby beads are of purplish red colour, with natural inclusions under 10x loupe. The diamonds on the double clip brooch are about I-J colour, VS-SI clarity. Condition: Some normal signs of wear, generally in good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US.
