Dr. Atl (Gerardo Murillo) (1875-1964)

This work appears to be in stable condition but, would benefit from a light cleaning. There are scattered lines of craquelure in the center of the right quadrant, this is potentially correspondant to the breathing of the wood. There are areas of paint loss on right edge potentially caused by frame abrasion. The verso of the work might have been used as a palette for the artist as it is covered in various paint colors. Additionally, the verso is inscribed "Original del pintor mexicano Dr. Atl" and dated "Año 1935" in white paint, as well as numbered A35 and 350.
