Both works are painted on copper. Collote e Yndia: What appears to be a minor flake in the lower left quadrant, to the right of the title, is visible. Additionally, intermittent areas of minor frame abrasion are visible to the upper and left edges of the painting. This work is evenly varnished. Under ultraviolet inspection, areas of in-painting are present above the female's head and above her left shoulder. Additionally, opaque varnish is present in the gold border around the title and in the body of the tree in the upper right quadrant. Espanol y Negra: Minor frame abrasions are visible along all four edges of this work. This work is evenly varnished. Under ultraviolet inspection, in-painting and opaqaque varnish are visible throughout this work. Overall, both of these paintings are in very good condition.
