Condition

The Assumption of the Virgin: This work has been inspected under glass. Minor flecks of paint loss are scattered throughout. Under ultraviolet inspection, extensive in-painting is present throughout. St. Augustine: This work has been inspected under glass. Scattered paint loss is visible throughout, particularly in the upper right quadrant. Under ultraviolet inspection, extensive in-painting is visible throughout. Additionally the presence of extensive areas of an opaque varnish, particularly in the face and torso of St. Augustine and in the lower right quadrant are visible. Overall, both works are in very good condition.
