Condition
This work would greatly benefit from cleaning and conservation. It appears to be unlined with 6 patches on the verso. There is extensive craquelure along the bottom edge. There is also craquelure on right boarder of painting. Stretcher bar marks are visible throughout in addition to fly speckling. There are tiny small spots of paint loss above the shoulder of depiction of God, the Father. There is a 4 inch line of in-painting starting at the left wrist of the Archangel corresponding to a patch on the verso. There are scattered areas of in-painting along the right edge.
