Condition

Please note that this work is oil painted on artist board affixed to plywood. The work is evenly varnished. Paint loss is visible to the lower left and upper right edges. Moreover, flecks of paint loss are visible particularly in the teeth of the comb, the hat, and in the green box in the foreground. A one-inch dent is visible in the center of the lower edge. A hole, approximately, one-inch in diameter is visible five-inches from the bottom of the painting on the right edge of the composition. Under ultraviolet inspection, two small areas of accretions are present in top right edge. This work would most likely benefit from a light cleaning. Overall, this work is in good condition.
