Condition
The canvas is unlined and tightly stretched. There is scattered craquelure throughout but the paint layer is stable with a few scattered dark dots. There is a 1/2 inch loss in the center of the upper edge. The picture does not appear to have been cleaned or restored recently. Under ultraviolet light inspection the work appears to be evenly varnished with only a couple of spots of restoration on the right edge consistent with frame abrasions. The work is in good condition overall.
