Description
- jadeite, diamond, gold
- Finger citron approximately 42.80 x 18.73 x 10.55mm.
The translucent jadeite of apple green colour carved as a finger citron, with a squirrel crouching on the top suffused with honey yellow tone, decorated by brilliant-cut and pear-shaped diamonds, accompanied by a link-chain, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length approximately 580mm.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to the jadeite certificate, the carved "finger citron" jadeite is natural, type "A" jadeite. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite is highly translucent, of bright green colour with yellow patches, mostly to the top. Upon illumination, there are some white clouds, not noticeable to naked eyes and very common in natural jadeite. Diamonds together weighing approximately 1.00 carat are about F to G colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Karat white gold mount, in very good condition.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. Please check with the specialist department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to these import restrictions, or any other restrictions on importation or exportation.
