Accompanied by GIA report numbered 5101488037, dated 17 January 2011, stating that the 30.31 carat diamond is Dcolour, Internally Flawless clarity; also accompanied by diamond type classification report stating that the diamond is determined to be a Type IIa diamond. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often
have exceptional optical transparency. Further accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 11010005, dated 11 January 2011, stating that the 30.31 carat diamond is D colour, Internally Flawless clarity; also accompanied by notes and appendix stating that the diamond is classified as aType IIa. "Diamonds of this type, exhibiting an antique cutting style as well as superior quality, are very rare and will most certainly evoke references to the historic term of 'Golconda'."
